If you're in the US, you are more lucky than you'll ever realize. Thank goodness for the great people who formed this nation! I'm so glad I have had so many opportunities here. So, in my neck of the woods, there are several days of celebration. Yesterday we went to a Colonial Village. I was surprised how much the kids liked it. They loved playing some games from the period and seeing a blacksmith work, among other things. Personally, I think those colonists were on to something here: This is a nice little discipline device I could use at times. Today we may go to "Ellis Island". Enigma will die if we don't go to the fair this minute. So for now, take care and have a fun, safe weekend!
(The end of the Story for Sunday should post sometime Sunday.)

Oh yes I think I could put one of these to some good use! :)
That's a great photo! It must be really neat to live near so many great landmarks of American history. There are so many patriotic things you can do around this time of year!
Oh wow! My husband and I keep saying we should go to Colonial Village! Have you been there before? Is it worth the 2 hour drive for me?
I hope you got a chance to see Ellis Island! We went a few month ago and ad a fantastic time walking along the boardwalk!
Have a happy 4th!

♥Have A Happy 4th Of July♥
We're thinking of going to Ellis Island too. Isn't America great?
Happy Fourth! That is such a cute picture!
Hmmmm, I could easily fashion something similar...
I think the children had the most fun at "Tom Sawyer's Island" in Disney. I have pictures of both of them like yours. Very cute!
