Big Brother Is Watching...
I'm not really supposed to comment on the google ads at all but I think it wouldn't be remiss to say that they crack me up because someone really must read the content of the blog to come up with the ads they do, it is my comic relief.
That's exactly what happens! Based on what you write about, the powers that be put on ads to match. I asked an SEO/search engine guy about it.
When I wrote a post about my daughter sleeping with an uncapped green marker I got a whole slew of ads about art supplies. When I wrote about my son making a blow gun out of a tampon applicator, I got them for weeks about "green" and biodegradable feminine products.

Oh my gosh, my boys make blow guns out of tampon applicators too! I'm not alone!
When I wrote about a newstory where a girl made the comment "that's so gay" I got all kinds of ads geared specifically for gay people.
Not exactly the audience I'm going for.
