NOTICES

Dear Thing 1 and Thing 2,

Thank you so much for the festive decorations. However, I think you have your holidays mixed up. That would be PASSOVER, not Christmas where they painted red around the doorway. Also, I don't think it works to use sidewalk chalk. Thank you for thinking of me and using sidewalk chalk. No, I don't think I will be buying lamb any time soon, and it doesn't matter, because they only did that on the very first passover. So just come on over to Christmas again. Thank you,
Mom

Dear Gigio,

That Jewish holiday this month is not called Harmonica, it's called Chanukah. Don't worry, it's an understandable confusion, I'm sure you're not the only one. Just giving you the heads up. Love,
Mom

Dear Thing 1,

Sometimes people just use the expression "I'm crazy" without meaning it literally. So, the next time I put too much brown sugar in the gingerbread because I was reading the amount for flour, and I say "I'm crazy", before you respond, "Yay! I's right! You's ARE crazy, I knew it!" just remember that A)It's not polite to say that, and B) If it's true, it's only just temporary because there are too many kids in on this project. C) Your present might get lost. Thank you for your consideration,
Mom

Dear Everybody All Over the World,

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with those you love and wish you peace in your hearts, in your homes, and on all the earth this new year! Love,
Mom, uh, Shellie

Talk about crazy, one time when I was making cookies, I accidently put cornstarch in instead of baking soda. (Hey, both of the boxes were yellow)
They actually turned out pretty tasty. Flat but tasty.
The Greatest Christmas pageant ever is one of my kids favorite books.

Love Iz's version of "Over the Rainbow" - spent extra time on your blog just to listen to it.

No e-mail to contact you at, so I'll answer your question here. I love A Beka Math for the elementary grades. Bright and colorful, so the kids don't get scared of it.

Merry Christmas! Thanks for the warning about the car!

Merry Christmas to you and all of your Thing1 and Thing2 and however many things you have. One day they'll move out and we'll miss them. (At least that's what they tell me.)
