Meanwhile...

Back at the ranch, I started a lunchbox post that who knows when I will get back to. I am working on a possible emergency trip out west in a few days with Carino for an Atresia conference and consult with doctors. I also found out we should be living near the Ear Institute. Never knew it existed before, but I want a consult for my husband there too! And this article is making me sick, just sick! Why didn't I find this 9 years ago????? I know it's true because of all we've seen with Carino. So, maybe a hearing aid is in our future too? Even though it's way late? And when are we going to get that Star Trek technology and be able to just beam ourselves up and over to places? The thought of a car ride or plane ride is making my stomach churn. I hope I survive to post again. If not, I love you all! Take care of the world, and good luck with the election, the economy, the environment, my kids, etc. (You'll need it!) If I do survive, and I go, I can tell you about all the neurotic thoughts I had on my trip, and all about the crazy wasp that attacked Gigio, and the stomach bug going around here, and the dress I fell in love with, and Enigma's dates and blood donations, and how I need more sleep! And I need a maid! And I need more time! And the great lunch ideas I have. Too bad for my kids, they're just ideas (snort!) Well, occasionally, they are realities. Stay tuned...

I would love to be able to beam from one place to another! Think how much time that would save!

I rarely make my kids lunch to take anywhere. They like lunchables, so when we pack, we create our own. A few crackers, some cheese and lunchmeat or a yogurt, a few chips in a sandwich bag, maybe a cookie or 2, a water bottle or container of juice/milk.

Hubby and I usually get leftovers for my lunch. Otherwise, they may spoil.
